The “New Year 2024” concert, an annual cultural event of the People’s Public Security force and a meaningful gift from the Ministry of Public Security to officers, soldiers, and people on the occasion of the new year, was first held at Ho Guom Opera, the first Vietnamese Opera meeting international standards.

The “New Year 2024” concert brought the audience beautiful sounds and endless emotions through melodies about spring thanks to the participation of conductor Honna Tetsuji, nearly 100 artists from the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, People’s Public Security Music Song and Dance Theatre, and well-known Vietnamese singers such as Lan Anh, Pham Thu Ha, and Dao To Loan.

Celebrated Vietnamese musical works about spring, including Mùa xuân đầu tiên (composed by Musician Van Cao), Lắng nghe mùa xuân về (composed by Musician Duong Thu), Cung đàn mùa xuân (composed by Musician Cao Viet Bach), Mùa xuân nho nhỏ (composed by Musician Tran Hoan), Mùa chim én bay (composed by Musician Hoang Hiep), Hà Nội mười hai mùa hoa (composed by Musician Giang Son), and Đảng đã cho ta một mùa xuân (composed by Musician Pham Tuyen), performed in this concert.

Part 2 of the concert exploded with the renowned Polka and Waltz dance with classic works by composer Johann Strauss II, Pomp and Circumstance by British composer Edward Elgar, Heia in den Bergen by Emmerich Kalman, L'Arlésienne Suite by Georges Bizet, etc. ​

Under the direction of conductor Honna Tetsuji, nearly 100 artists from the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, People’s Public Security Music Song and Dance Theatre, and well-known Vietnamese singers such as Lan Anh, Pham Thu Ha, and Dao To Loan, the “New Year 2024” concert was considered a musical feast imbued with the beauty of spring.
