On March 6, the sound experts from the Meyer Sound team continued to fine-tune the sound system in preparation for the highly anticipated international music projects in 2024 at Ho Guom Opera. 

Meyer Sound’s team, led by Mr. John Pellowe, Project Director of the Constellation system, and the Ho Guom Opera’s technical team calibrated and upgraded the sound system in the main auditorium, stage area, orchestra pit, and other areas, ensuring to provide the audience with the most impressive sound experiences.

John Pellowe won 1 award and was nominated for 4 Grammy Awards for outstanding technical achievement in audio recording in his career. He served as the Technical Sound Director for global concert tours of Luciano Pavarotti and The Three Tenors. In 2014, he was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Pro Sound Awards for his relentless contributions.

According to John Pellowe, the Constellation Acoustic System designed and installed by Meyer Sound has elevated the listening experience for Vietnamese audiences to a new level, and the Ho Guom Opera project has garnered significant attention from domestic and international audiences.

Ho Guom Opera is in the top 5 theaters in the world with the most advanced sound systems designed and installed by Meyer Sound. The performance sound system includes both the array speaker system and the Constellation speaker system, the only sound solution in the world offering all four types of sound interaction between performers on stage, among the audience, and between performers and the audience and vice versa.

The Constellation speaker system utilizes an array of micro-sensors positioned around the auditorium and stage area, sophisticated digital signal processors, and a world-class loudspeaker system. Constellation adjusts the reverberation characteristics and time at a location and distributes sound evenly throughout the auditorium, creating a natural sound experience in every position.

Minister of Public Security, Mr. To Lam thanked the experts from Meyer Sound for their dedication and announced that in 2024, Ho Guom Opera will welcome many international theaters, orchestras, and artists. He hoped the audience would have sublime moments with music in a world-class space.
